Jury now deliberating in the Rachel Morin case

The jury is now deliberating what the fate of defendant Victor Martinez-Hernandez after nine days of trial.The defense and prosecution both gave passionate closing arguments to the jury before they were sent to discuss the case for the first time since trial began.Martinez is accused of kidnapping, raping and murdering Rachel Morin in August 2023. The prosecution has asked for the jury to find him guilty of 1st degree premeditated murder, and a punishment of life in prison without the possibility of parole.This is a developing story.
